Hemlock

50 years

Edited and layout by: Ron Ohayv
Untiring technical assitance: Stuart Leiderman

Introduction

This anthology of creative writings and related arts by a group of Northwood students from our 1963 class of 50 years ago, has been gathered by pooled efforts, to honour our connection from that period and our own continuing personal creative powers. To celebrate our individual forms of sensitivity and talent, which we as a group were fortunate to share in the daily classroom, and which we can again share now.

This work is also to celebrate the intellectually courageous and decades-long inspiring influence which Mr. Teunis - through his rigorous high expectations of us, untraditional teaching-methods, humour, and even bits of his off-stage life-style - had on numerous of his students, on our careers, tastes, and cultural level.

Opening these Files

Technical note: While setting this homepage up as an amateur, some shortcuts were necessary, which now require an unaccustomed opening sequence from you. You'll find the results well worth this detour!

A few of the links you'll see, when clicked, will take you straight to internet pages with the contributed text.

Most links however end in .doc or .pdf. If these are blocked, you can go to your computer's or browser's security settings, and make your files-viewing voluntary rather than automatically blocked.

When clicked these files will then bring up a box with the options "open file" (.doc files open with Word, .pdf with Adobe Reader) or "save" (to your computer). Clicking here will give you the contributed text or picture.

Very long contributions will use a minute or so downloading to your screen.

You can always change the settings back afterwards, if you want to.

If you still can't see a file, you can email me below, and I'll send it to you! We don't want no unsolved problems here!
